Promposals to Remember

Promposals to Remember

Sometimes asking a date to prom can be a great stress! “Promposals” are taking over high school juniors and seniors. A Promposal is the act of proposing the idea of prom to your hopeful date. Seniors set the standard high this year, and here are  some of our favorites:

Senior Jack Hartley takes great pride in the mustache he began to sport at the beginning of the varsity baseball season. Following the theme, he asked Bre Bernt (12), by waiting outside her house on a day off with a sign reading “Peep the ‘stache with me at prom?” Of course she said yes!

Life-long friends Tyler Tongish (12) and Katie Horan (12) will attend prom together thanks to Tyler’s creativity in prom asking. Horan  has been a part of the LNS tennis program for three years. On what seemed to be a normal day hanging out, he arrived on her best friend’s front porch sporting a sign that read “I know you’re #1 at singles, but will you be my doubles partner at prom?” Horan  was all smiles and more than ready to show off her date at prom!

During junior Reagan Duranski’s senior kidnapping for the Dazzlers dance team, she thought she had arrived at a fellow teammates house. With a blindfold on and all senses blocked, a surprise was awaiting her. When the blindfold was removed she was blinded by a neon sign, sparkling letter, and a smiling Dalton Vergith (12) reading “You danced your way into my heart, dazzle me at prom?”
