Fast Food Customer Service

Attention all juniors and seniors: Be cautious of your lunch excursions. You need to get your food and get back to school, but also want a quality experience. As of late, a quality experience is hard to come by.

There are very few establishments around North Star who are mindful of the customer. When going out for lunch, dealing with a cashier’s bad attitude is the last thing you need. Some locations take your order and get you in and out right away.

Students have varying opinions on how service can be. Most students are fed up with the service they receive while out to lunch. Michaela Aschenbach (12) said, honestly, it would be a fivea on a scale of 10 because they are rude and they have to expect busy lunch hours.” “The customer service in general is a four out of 10 because they have really bad attitudes because of the number of people and they throw stuff at you. They don’t say you’re welcome and are quite feisty,” said Katasia Cahn (12).

Jimmy John’s- 5 out of 5 Stars: Very respectful and “freaky fast.” By far the quickest and nicest place you can stop for lunch.

McDonald’s- 3.5 out of 5 Stars: Depending on the day of the week ,the service is very quick. The service could be more friendly but, it’s still McDonald’s.

Dairy Queen- 3.5 out of 5 Stars: It is a cheap option with the 5 buck lunch but, is it worth the wait? Dairy Queen offers quality customer service but doesn’t keep in mind that there are places we have to be. You can expect to be eating your lunch on the drive back to school and still risking being late to your seventh period class.

Runza- 3 out of 5 Stars: If you’re looking for a nice amount of sass with your order then make a stop at Runza for lunch. While you get relatively quick service the person to person interaction is not a great way to your lunch break.

Popeye’s- 4 out of 5 Stars: Popeye’s is quick and an easy place to get to for lunch. The service is quick and the workers are typically friendly. If you’re looking for a place to sit and eat Popeye’s should be one of the first places you consider.

Culver’s- 3 out of 5 Stars: Culver’s is over priced and the service takes longer than it should. It is comparable to Dairy Queen in it’s service. The only difference is the over- priced options on the menu.

Juice Stop- 4 out of 5 Stars: Juice Stops service definitely varies based on the day of the week. It is also another quick option for your lunch break.

While going out for lunch can be a nice break from school for 30 minutes it can also be a hassle. Be mindful of where you go because it can turn your day upside down.
