If you have nothing to do today, sit back and relax, because there is more to do than you think.
Watch a Movie that is not Romantic
Because it is Valentine’s Day watching Romantic movies is not the best idea. Go for something new and exciting. Some recommendations are “Hush” (Netflix) or “The Martian” (Redbox). Another thing you could do is watch some new shows. There are plenty of good ones on Netflix.
Hang out with Friends
If you don’t want to stay home alone, make plans with some friends. Play games, go for coffee, or watch a movie. Friends always make everything better.
Start something new
Holidays are the perfect time to start something new. Go to a new place, start a book, go shopping, or go skating. If you’re adventurous this is the perfect idea for you.
Buy yourself a gift
If you are just devastated that you don’t have someone to buy you gifts today, buy yourself some chocolates. Flowers are also great. If you don’t want to sleep alone, a huge teddy bear is great to keep you company.
Forgive
Valentine’s Day is not only about your boyfriend or girlfriend, but it’s also about friendships. Valentine’s Day is a day about friends. If you have something against someone or an ex, just forgive them.
According to Berkeley Education, forgiving someone releases anger and makes you a happier person.
If you are single this Valentine’s Day just remember that you aren’t lonely. Half of America is single too.
