Opinion: Why the GOP Won’t Be Successful in 2016

Donald Trump and his fellow GOP counterparts will not be successful in 2016.

With the exception of Ohio Gov. John Kasich, the rest are showing the turmoil that the GOP is going through. The common sense conservatives are too “liberal” for the party and will be chastised. The far right wing conservatives continue to show their dominance over the party along with the Koch Brothers and their spending.

Regardless of who gets either party’s nomination later this summer, the polls show Democrats winning by a large margin. Thanks to CNN and other political polling agencies we can see just how big the gap is between the American electorate and the Republican party. Sen. Bernie Sanders and Sec. Hillary Clinton enjoy large margins of victory over the remaining GOP candidates.

Trump recently had his Chicago rally shut down due to protesting and violence that could have risen upon his arrival.

At a rally in Fayetteville, North Carolina an African American man was punched in the crowd. The gentleman who punched him was caught on camera saying he would have killed him.

Trump’s followers show just how out of touch he is with the American public. A man like Trump is not fit to run this country.

David Duke, the former Grand Wizard of the Klu Klux Klan endorsed him and Trump lied about knowing who he was and took too much time to disavow him, saying he didn’t want to disavow someone he didn’t know.

Sen. Ted Cruz has proven he is not fit for our country as well. During a televised debate, he said the U.S. should carpet bomb ISIS in the Middle East. He has also showed his ultra- conservative views on immigration time and time again.

Gov. John Kasich is the most moderate of the bunch, but at this rate, his numbers are not favorable either. He is the most fit to run our country and receive the GOP nomination. The Republican primary voters have said otherwise.

With the trend continuing the Democrats should see a comfortable victory in November.
