Conservative political commentator Tomi Lahren has been suspended from her show,The Blaze” according to TheDc’s sources. Lahren appeared with a panel on the television show  “The View” to talk politics. Lahren expressed her opinion about being pro-choice, and why conservatives who are pro-life are in a way, hypocrites.

“I’m someone that’s for limited government. So I can’t be a hypocrite and say that I’m for limited government, but I think the government should decide what women do with their bodies,” Lahren said. She then said that because she’s for limited government, people can stay out of her guns, and also stay out of her body.

Her comments got a lot of backlash from conservatives, with some people calling her a “flip flop.” Many Democrats said they respected her more because she’s not as extreme as they thought she was. While other Democrats sided with conservatives, saying she has switched her position after she criticized people for being pro-choice in December 2016.

“Pro-choice supporters are supposed to be about rare and safe abortions; that’s how they avoid sounding like straight up baby killers. By acknowledging that abortion is not a positive thing, and a difficult choice, then we have Lena freakin’ Dunham wishing she could have murdered a fetus…” ,said Lahren when she spoke on her very conservative broadcast, ‘The Blaze.’

“The Blaze” CEO Glenn Beck said he didn’t suspend Lahren over her stance on abortion. “So if you’re pro-choice, you can have a job at The Blaze. I don’t hire people who are sycophants or who have my opinion. I try to hire people who have a different opinion because I believe in being intellectually rigorous. I don’t want straw men,” said Beck. However, the reason that Lahren got suspended was because she used the word, ‘hypocrites’ while describing conservatives who believe that the government shouldn’t dictate their guns, but have the right to dictate women’s bodies.

Lahren has since been on Twitter defending her claims and stuck true to what she said on “The View.” Lahren said, “People are intolerant of an Independent thinker.I have moderate, conservative, and libertarian views. I’m human. I will never apologize, to anyone, for being an independent thinker,” said Lahren.

Lahren’s contract with “The Blaze” doesn’t expire until September, but she may not be with the franchise until then, as her contract will most likely be terminated.
