2016 Key Election Dates to Know

April 4: Early Voting BY MAIL begins

April 11: Early Voting IN PERSON begins

April 22: Postmark Deadline for mailed-in voter registrations

April 22: At close of business, last day that voter registrations can be completed Online, at DMV/County Treasurers

April 22, 6 p.m.: Deadline for deputy registrars to register voters for an upcoming Election.

April 22: At close of business, last day that voter registrations can be completed at State Agencies/Departments for the person to be registered to vote in an upcoming Election.

May 2: Last day for write-in candidate to file notarized affidavit and filing fee with the filing officer

May 2, 6 p.m.: Deadline for in person voter registration.

May 4, 4 p.m.: Deadline to receive an application for Early Voting ballots to be mailed out to a specific address

May 9, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Last day for Early Voting in person at Election Commissioner’s Office

May 10 STATEWIDE Primary Election: Polls are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
