The North Star Mass Media team is back for another great school year! In it’s second year since, “the comeback” students are proud to start developing stories for The Gator Galaxy that represent the diversity and excellence at North Star High School. This year, staff welcome
d back four members from last year; Chase Strohmyer, Angela Klipic, Alexis Parde, and Ruby Swanson, who are using their expertise to lead the new members of the team.
The team has been using the first three weeks of the semester to build a strong team mentality. They took part in a North Star scavenger hunt where they explored the building and all that is has to offer. Students also practiced mock interviews with various LNS staff members to hone their interview and photography skills.
Another part of the LNS Mass
Media team will be developing and creating the 2024-
2025 North Star yearbook, Polaris. This week the team started working towards creating a cohesive Yearbook theme. It’s going to be very exciting watching it all come together!
Students and staff might notice LNS Mass Media staff
taking pictures at North Star events, making sure all students are represented in the yearbook. Below is a list of the full LNS Mass Media staff. Please let one of them know of any story ideas you’d like to see represented on the Gator Galaxy.
