On April 23rd 2024, senior yearbook editor Josh Goodrich, along with advisor Shelby Cowan, were in attendance of the NSAA State Journalism award ceremony in Norfolk, Nebraska. Josh, who has been helping develop yearbooks for North Star for two years, placed top eight in the “Yearbook Spread Layout” category. During the ceremony, Josh received a sixth place medal for his yearbook spread. His spread consisted of the different tastes of music at North Star. Full of creativity and information, his page in the yearbook is one students will spend a lot of time on. If you are wanting to see the page that placed sixth in state, make sure you buy a yearbook!
