The North Star Library has fun opportunities year-round for all students. For starters, the question of the month for February is: “Do you prefer to give gifts or to receive gifts?” Students can answer this question at Jump Code: OFYW for a chance to win a free book or another prize. The book you are entered to win is The Do-Over, a rom-com by Nebraska Best-Selling Author Lynn Painter.
As well as giveaways, the library has grab and go activities, board games, marker materials, and a puzzle table. If you’re interested you can come in before school, during lunch, or after school. Ms. Pentland, the North Star librarian, is happy to let anyone in on the festivities and make sure everyone feels invited. New books have also arrived and the February Displays may catch your interest. These books in particular highlight Black History for Black History Month.
