I am Nibras Khudaida and am new to the staff of the North Star newspaper. I am a senior and I came to the United States two years ago from North Iraq. Because North Star is home to the largest population of international students, each foreign student in North Star has a unique story that needs to be shared with other students and teachers to better help them succeed in the United States. I am a strong advocate for education and I believe that education could bring peace and love to the world.
I joined the newspaper staff to share our stories with students and staff at North Star. I believe in the power of each story and the influence they could have on readers. I am here to share the diversity of thoughts and opinions. I describe the things I enjoy the most in three words, math, reading, and writing. Go Gators!
