Boys Soccer Headed to State

The North Star boys soccer team celebrates after being presented with the district A-3 championship plaque Wednesday, May 3 at Seacrest Field.

After 80 minutes of game play, the North Star Gator boys soccer team sealed their state tournament bid with a 1-0 victory over North Platte last night at Seacrest Field.

The district A-3 champions will make their second state tournament appearance in school history next Wednesday in Omaha. State brackets are due out later this week.

The Gators are 16-2 going in to the state tournament after winning their first-ever city tournament last week with a 5-3 win over Lincoln East.
