The season has come to an end for the lady Gators, who played a tough last game against Southeast on Thursday, Nov. 4 on their home court. The game took four sets, all of which were very close, with the Knights winning 3-1.

There was a chance the Gators could have earned a wild card, but at the end of the night, it wasn’t to be.

Junior Alexa Mustard said, “[This] was probably the best season we could ask for. We played so hard through so many obstacles and overcame a lot. I just wish we could get a chance to show everyone how great we actually are in state.”

Now, it’s time to look forward to next season. “I plan to rest a little and heal my injuries, but club volleyball starts at the end of December, so I’ll be playing volleyball and preparing for my season next year,” Mustard said.
