The months of October and November bring much attention to the video game world. According to a published episode of CNN Student News, 87 percent of all teenage boys play video games. So, you can see the excitement as all of the new video games come these next two months.images

The highly anticipated, first of it’s kind, “Battlefield 1” is staged during World War I. It is the first major game to hit the shelves that is set in this era.

Gamestop, a major video game company, gave the game a 4.9 out of 5. Comments from the company include, “Absolutely mesmerizing”, “Game of the decade”, and “Closest to the experience as you can get.”

Senior Mark Vlasyuk said, “I’ve been playing it the first day it came out. Without a doubt it’s the greatest video game i’ve ever played. It’s so realistic.”

The other game that has gamers on the edge of their seats to come out, is “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.” The game is staged in the future, just like the previous games, but also has the most anticipated, “bonus” a game could have, according to an article published on gameinformer.com. It comes with the remastered version of the Call of Duty game that started it all, “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.” As Call of Duty’s highest grossing game, it seems only right to make the best game, even better. The graphics will be improved and run smoother for the new gaming consoles to run it.

Needless to say, October and November is like an early Christmas to video game players.
